STEP 1 Introduction | Hi, my name is Jason MacNiven and I'm here to talk to you about the grip. Good golf starts with a good grip. Remember, your hands are the only part of your body that touches the club so they must be perfect.
|
STEP 2 The hands | A good grip begins with the club running through the base of the fingers in both hands. The hands should be together on the club as one unit.
| STEP 3 Hand position | You must remember to keep your thumb and first finger together. Your grip pressure should feel like you're holding an open ended tube of tooth paste - firm but no too tight.
| STEP 4 Wrapping up | Remember practice makes perfect. Bad players have a bad grip. Great players have a great grip. It's in your hands!
